The Athabasca Basin region of Northern Saskatchewan is considered to be one of the richest areas of uranium in the world. The Points North Group focuses on offering a myriad of products and services to the exploration and mining companies developing their claims in Saskatchewan's North.
At the end of Highway 905, Points North Landing is one of the northernmost points for trucking and air freight services for Northern Saskatchewan, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
Seeing a bright future for Saskatchewan's North, Points North Group has recently added a transportation division that handles freight from Saskatoon and Prince Albert.
We are proud of the fact that we have recently completed 14 RTM houses for the Community of Wollaston and have built the new Band Store for the Hatchet Lake First Nation. Over the years we have provided freighting services and fuel products to the communities of Wollaston, Black Lake, Stony Rapids, Fond du Lac and Uranium City.
Points North represents one of the anchors for our exploration activities in northern Saskatchewan. By using this facility and the services offered we save both time and money, which ultimately makes for more efficient and cost effective exploration programs.
