Other Services

Points North Group of Companies offers additional services designed to fulfill the requirements of businesses and individuals.

We operate a 6,000 foot airstrip which is used by AREVA for its McLean Lake Mine crew changes and by fishing lodges in the area. There are daily scheduled flights provided by Transwest Air and Pronto Airways.

Float and Ski Plane Service

We are happy to be an agent of Osprey Wings Ltd which offers float and ski plane service for the area.  They have DHC-2 Beavers, DHC-3T Turbine Otters and DHC-6 Twin Otters which station on a seasonal basis at Points North Landing.

Freight Forwarding

We have a modern warehouse where we can easily handle a customer's shipping and receiving needs. Ridsdale Transport currently delivers freight to Points North Landing three times a week. Ridsdale Transport has very good connections out of Regina, Saskatoon and La Ronge.

Sandroad Express can take your freight north to Black Lake and Stony with connections up to Fond du Lac and Uranium City.
